The entire piece is printed with a parody art based on the famous ukiyo-e print "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by Katsushika Hokusai, an ukiyo-e artist from the Edo period. A distinctive feature is the cats that appear among the waves.
-DESIGN & SILHOUETTE-
This is Hokusai's masterpiece, and is characterized by powerful waves, a small boat, and Mt. Fuji in the background. Cats are fused with the waves and boats, splashing among the foam and splashes of the waves, and the waves themselves have cat faces. This humorous and artistic parody has a fusion of Japanese "cuteness" and traditional art.
The calm colors make use of the indigo, beige, and off-white of ukiyo-e. The classic ukiyo-e print style is used as the fabric pattern, creating a visual impact.
-FABRIC-
The smooth texture makes it extremely comfortable to wear, and the fake tencel with its beautiful luster is used to achieve lightness and softness, and it is resistant to static electricity and does not cling to the skin.
-COORDINATE-
When paired with sneakers and a cap, it can be worn with a street feel, but when mixed with Japanese elements, it can also have a more modern or avant-garde feel.
